Messing around in boats.

We rose early this morning to get packed into the car, pick up the caravan and head to Devizes to pick up our narrowboat - our home for the next week. It was 2pm by the time we arrived at the boat and having unloaded the car and loaded the boat, gone shopping and had a late lunch it was 7pm by the time we finally got the engine going and started our slow journey down the canal. The speed in a narrowboat is a maximum of 4miles per hour and slower when passing other boats so, as you can imagine, we didn't get too far before stopping for the night.
